ISO 22000 2005 Lead Auditor Course

Introduction

ISO 22000:2005 is an internationally distinguished standard that determines the procedure for an efficient food safety management system based on HACCP. This course will facilitate in-depth understanding of the particular demands of the ISO 22000:2005 standard. In this course delegates will learn the detailed auditing procedures for a Food Safety Management System of an organisation. Considerably a large number of organisations in the food industry expect auditors to be trained and skilled in the processes necessary for the implementation of the ISO 22000:2005. Course Objectives

Delegates will

  1. empathise with the concepts and demands of ISO 22000:2005
  2. learn about the national/international food safety legislation
  3. realise the roles and responsibilities of a lead auditor in FSMS
  4. be able to lead audits related to the FSMS of an organisation
  5. be equipped with well-grounded and effective skills required to implement audits based on ISO 22000:2005 standard.

Prerequisites

Delegates are expected to have either basic knowledge of ISO 22000:2005 or experience of working in food safety management systems.
